9th Annual Sled Ride of Hope

On Saturday, Feb. 15^th  2014 Sledders from across Ontario got together to support the 9^th Annual Sled Ride of Hope in Gravenhurst, Ontario hosted by the Snowcrest Riders Snowmobile Club. The 2014 ride raised over $33,000.00, this year’s fundraising will be going to two great charities, our sled raffle funds which raised $22,000.00 will go to Prostate Cancer Canada Network who help support men & their families living with and recuperating from Prostate Cancer. Our pledge campaign which raised $11,000.00 will once again go to Wellspring Chinguacousy, a cancer house in Brampton, Ontario who also helps those directly afflicted with cancer. We were honored by an appearance from Rocco Rossi President & CEO of Prostate Cancer Canada and Managing Director of the Prostate Cancer Canada Network. Rocco gave a heartfelt speech to our participants ending in a standing ovation. Rocco and his fantastic team at PCC are changing the face of Prostate Cancer and we were proud to have him at this year’s event.
